πŸ“πŸŒ• Strawberry Full Moon in Capricorn and 7 Journal Prompts that support it

A Something NuBian Moon Observation Journal

Building with Discipline. Communicating with Intention. Healing with Awareness.

“This is part of my ongoing practice of living with the Moon, not just observing it.”

β˜₯ Why I’m Studying This Moon

I’m not interested in studying the Moon to predict my future.

I study the Moon because it reminds me to pay attention.

As a Reiki Master Teacher, Journal Therapy Coach, homeschool creator, and a woman living with fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue, I’ve learned that every season asks something different of my body, my mind, and my spirit. The Moon has become one of the ways I pause long enough to notice those changes.

This Observation Journal isn’t a horoscope.

It’s an invitation.

Together we’ll observe what’s happening in the sky, explore how it may show up in everyday life, and gather practical tools that can help us move through this season with greater awareness.

πŸŒ• Moon Phase of the Day

Moon: Strawberry Full Moon

Sign: Capricorn β™‘

Element: Earth 🌍

Modality: Cardinal

Ruling Planet: Saturn πŸͺ

Supporting Planetary Theme: Mercury Retrograde ☿

Looking Ahead: Jupiter enters Leo the following day, inviting confidence and creative expression after a period of reflection.

🌌 What Is Happening in the Sky?

This year’s Strawberry Full Moon in Capricorn arrives during one of the busiest astrological windows of 2026.

On the same day the Full Moon reaches its peak, Mercury stations retrograde in Cancer, inviting us to slow down, revisit conversations, and review unfinished business. Within about 24 hours, Jupiter leaves Cancer and enters Leo, shifting the collective energy from emotional protection toward confident self-expression.

This Moon Study brings together three important themes.

The Full Moon shines light on what has reached completion, what deserves recognition, and what is ready to be released.

Capricorn reminds us that meaningful growth usually comes through consistency rather than shortcuts.

Mercury Retrograde invites us to revisit conversations, unfinished projects, plans, routines, and ideas before rushing ahead.

Together they ask one simple question:

What are you building…and does it still reflect who you’re becoming?

πŸ”Ί Aspect Observation Journal

This section is based on the significant planetary conversations occurring during this Moon Study. Rather than treating astrology as prediction, I use these observations as invitations to notice patterns in my own life.

β™ˆ Where Might You Notice This?

Not everyone experiences the same Moon in the same way.

Here are a few possibilities to observe.

β™‘ Capricorn Sun, Moon or Rising

Career. Responsibility. Structure. Boundaries.

You may feel called to review your goals, career, responsibilities or personal boundaries. Ask yourself:

“Am I building a life that reflects my values?”

β™Š Gemini & ♍ Virgo Placements

Mercury Retrograde may highlight communication, writing, planning or unfinished ideas.

Rather than forcing answers, allow yourself time to revise.

β™‹ Cancer

Home. Family. Emotional safety. Nurturing yourself.

β™ˆ Aries

Building confidence through patience instead of speed.

β™Ž Libra

Finding balance between your own needs and everyone else’s expectations.

(πŸ‘€ Libra Moon…)

β™Š Gemini & ♍ Virgo

Mercury invites you to slow your thoughts before your words.

β™Œ Leo Placements

Prepare. The spotlight isn’t here quite yet…but it’s walking toward you.

(Jupiter enters tomorrow.)

Everyone Else

Even if your Sun, Moon or Rising sign isn’t mentioned today, notice what themes seem to repeat.

Sometimes the lesson isn’t connected to our zodiac sign at all.

Sometimes it’s connected to the season we’re living through.

If today’s Observation Journal doesn’t resonate, return during another Moon Study or explore previous ones. Healing is cyclical, and every Moon illuminates something different.

β˜₯ Kemetic Reflection

This month I find myself reflecting on two guiding principles instead of one.

Set

Saturn’s disciplined energy reminds me of Set’s invitation to endure challenges without abandoning myself.

Set teaches me that discipline is not punishment. Set asks…

Can you remain disciplined without becoming rigid?

Can you establish healthy boundaries without isolating yourself?

Can you continue climbing the mountain one intentional step at a time?

It is the willingness to remain committed even when progress feels slow.

Tehuti

Mercury Retrograde brings Tehuti to mind.

Writing. Communication. Learning. Discernment.

Rather than fearing retrograde, I ask myself:

Where do my words need more patience?

What lesson deserves another reading?

Tehuti asks…

Can you communicate with patience?

Can you revise before reacting?

Can you return to wisdom you’ve already written?

Together, Set and Tehuti remind me that wisdom is built through both action and reflection.

🌿 Nature’s Support

Crystals

πŸͺ¨ Smoky Quartz

Grounding and resilience.

❀️ Red Jasper

Steady energy and endurance.

πŸ–€ Black Tourmaline

Protection and energetic boundaries.

Herbs

🌿 Rosemary

Traditionally associated with remembrance, clarity and mental focus.

🌿 Sage

A reminder to clear what no longer serves us before welcoming something new.

Plants

🌳 Oak

Strength grows slowly.

🌱 Bamboo

Flexible enough to bend.

Strong enough not to break.

Seasonal Foods

Summer reminds us to nourish ourselves with what is naturally available.

πŸ“ Strawberries

πŸ₯’ Cucumbers

πŸ‰ Watermelon

🫐 Blueberries

πŸ₯¬ Leafy Greens

Living with fibromyalgia has taught me that consistency often matters more than perfection. Seasonal, hydrating, anti-inflammatory foods help support my body during periods of stress, heat and increased activity.

🧘🏿 Gentle Movement

This month’s lesson emphasizes stability rather than intensity.

If you live with fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, arthritis, Long COVID, burnout or a busy nervous system, gentle movement can be an act of compassion instead of another task to complete.

Consider:

β€’ Mountain Pose

β€’ Child’s Pose

β€’ Cat-Cow

β€’ Forward Fold

β€’ Slow walking outdoors

Move slowly.

Notice your breath.

Your body is part of the observation.

🀲 Healing Hand Practice

One way I support my nervous system during each Moon Study is through Self-Reiki.

As a Reiki Master Teacher, these are the hand placements I return to when life asks me to slow down and rebuild my foundation.

This month I am spending extra time with my hands resting over:

❀️ Root Chakra

To remember that I am supported.

πŸ’› Solar Plexus

To remember that I am capable.

πŸ’š Heart Chakra

To balance discipline with compassion.

Whether you practice Reiki or simply enjoy a quiet moment of stillness, placing your hands gently over these areas can become a reminder to pause and listen to your body.

🌈 Chakra Reflection

This Moon invites me to balance three energy centers.

❀️ Root

Safety.

Stability.

Foundation.

πŸ’› Solar Plexus

Confidence.

Personal power.

Healthy discipline.

πŸ’š Heart

Compassion.

Forgiveness.

Gentleness toward myself while I continue growing.

β˜• What Happened in My Real Life

As I studied this Moon, I noticed something interesting.

Instead of creating another product, I spent time reviewing worksheets I’d already printed for Inner-G Scholars Academy.

A few months ago I probably would have rushed ahead.

This time I slowed down. I edited. I reflected. I organized.

That felt very Capricorn.

Mercury Retrograde also encouraged me to revisit conversations about the direction of Something NuBian itself. Instead of asking, “What should I create next?” I asked, “What have I already learned that deserves to be organized and shared more clearly?”

Perhaps this Moon wasn’t asking me to work harder.

Perhaps it was asking me to build wiser.

🌍 How This Might Show Up For You

You don’t have to be a Capricorn to notice this energy.

Perhaps you finally:

β€’ Finished organizing your home office.

β€’ Returned to a journal you hadn’t opened in months.

β€’ Had an overdue conversation with someone you love.

β€’ Scheduled the medical appointment you’ve been postponing.

β€’ Decided to rest instead of pushing through another flare.

β€’ Reviewed your finances before making a purchase.

Different lives.

Different stories.

The same invitation:

Pause. Observe. Build intentionally.

πŸ““ Journal Prompts

  1. What foundation am I building right now?
  2. Where has discipline become self-criticism?
  3. Which unfinished conversation deserves another chance?
  4. What habit has quietly improved my life this year?
  5. What part of me is ready to be seen as Jupiter prepares to enter Leo?
  6. How does my body ask for support during stressful seasons?
  7. What am I learning by slowing down?

✨ Affirmation

I honor both discipline and compassion. I release what no longer supports my growth and continue building a life rooted in wisdom, intention and healing.

πŸ“š Continue Your Practice

If this Moon Study encouraged you to slow down, reflect, organize your thoughts or reconnect with your long-term vision, consider continuing your observations in your Evergreen Planner.

If today’s journal prompts awakened memories, dreams or emotional insights, your Dream Journal may become the perfect companion for the weeks ahead.

Every observation becomes part of a larger story.

πŸŒ™ Continue Your Moon Journey

If today’s Moon Observation didn’t reflect your current experience, don’t worry.

Healing doesn’t happen all at once, and no single Moon speaks to everyone in the same way.

Return during the next New or Full Moon, or explore previous Observation Journals to see how different lunar and planetary conversations may resonate with your own life.

The Moon does not do our healing.

It simply reminds us to pay attention.

The work of healing still belongs to us.

May we continue observing, learning, and growing together.
