Sometimes our dreams don’t scream.

They whisper.

In a recent dream, I discovered a long green object beneath my skin. It wasn’t painful, but it was impossible to ignore. Around it were familiar themes: family, old friendships, caretaking, and the search for answers.

Dreams often reveal what waking life has tucked away beneath the surface. Not every emotional wound hurts. Some simply create discomfort when we brush against them.

The color green is traditionally associated with the heart center, reminding us that healing isn’t always about fixing something broken. Sometimes it’s about acknowledging what still lives beneath the surface and deciding whether it belongs in our future.

Perhaps the dream wasn’t asking me to remove the object.

Perhaps it was simply asking me to notice it.
