For a long time, I believed many of us were chasing something we could never catch.
Not peace.
Not wisdom.
Perfection.
Recently, I was having a conversation with someone I love. She shared that only God is perfect. It wasn’t directed at me. It was simply what she believes.
As I listened, I found myself wondering something different.
What if the problem isn’t that we aren’t perfect?
What if the problem is that we’ve been taught to measure ourselves against perfection instead of recognizing our own divine nature?
I wasn’t trying to debate her.
I was trying to understand why so many people spend their lives believing they will never be enough.
Growing up, I was exposed to the idea that perfection belonged somewhere outside of me. That no matter how much I loved, learned, healed, or served, I would always fall short.
Over time, I noticed what that belief produced in many people.
Fear.
Guilt.
Shame.
Dependence.
Not because those qualities are required by spirituality, but because believing you can never measure up often leaves you searching for someone else to tell you your worth.

That didn’t align with my spirit.
As I continued studying nature, energy, history, and my own lived experiences, I began seeing the Creator differently.
The plants don’t apologize for growing at different speeds.
The moon isn’t ashamed because it has phases.
The seasons don’t compete with one another.
Everything in creation follows its own rhythm.
Why would humanity be the only part of creation expected to exist without a process?
I began viewing the Divine as the Macro and ourselves as the micro.
Not separate.
Connected.
Not identical.
Related.
Just as a seed contains the blueprint of a mighty tree, perhaps we each carry a spark of the Creator that is meant to grow, not perform.
That perspective changed everything for me.
Instead of asking, “How do I become perfect?”
I started asking,
“How do I become more honest?”
“How do I become more compassionate?”
“How do I heal what fear has taught me?”
Those questions have brought me far more peace than trying to earn perfection ever did.
This isn’t about proving anyone else’s beliefs wrong.
It’s about sharing what I’ve experienced.
I’ve learned that healing becomes possible the moment we stop believing our value depends on being flawless.
Maybe unity doesn’t begin when everyone believes the same thing.
Maybe it begins when we recognize that every person is learning, healing, and growing in their own season.
For me, the Divine isn’t asking me to become perfect.
The Divine is inviting me to become authentic.
And authenticity has brought me closer to peace than perfection ever could.
✨ I Don’t Believe In God, Because I Know God.
I share the same Creator as the plants and the planets, living, breathing, and aligned with the cycles of creation.
