My DoorDash Origin Story:
I didn’t start DoorDash because I had a plan. I started because I had purpose. I needed a stream of income that wouldn’t drain my body—I live with fibromyalgia, and some days my energy costs more than any dollar amount.
I also needed flexibility—I’m a homeschooling mama, a wife, a Reiki Master Teacher, and a Certified Canva Creative. My life runs on love, lessons, and alignment. So when DoorDash gave me the freedom to be in control of my hours, I said, “Bet. Let’s see what this gig can really do.”
The Power of Morning Movement:
That first season—probably during the holidays—was something different. The money seemed to flow, the streets were empty, and the energy felt light. I was moving in alignment. Waking up early wasn’t a task—it was a testimony. It showed me I could show up for myself before the world showed up for me.
It became more than a gig. It was a sacred hustle. And I honored it with:
- Intention-setting before leaving the house
- Wearing colors that matched my mood and mission
- Reiki’ing my car for protection and prosperity
- Playing my “Money & Motion” playlist on Spotify
- Whispering affirmations like: “I am a magnet for good energy and good tips.”
Time Shift, Energy Drift:
Then came the time changes. Not one, but two. Chile… my 5 a.m. discipline started slipping into 8:30 a.m. struggle. It wasn’t burnout—it was my body trying to adjust to the rhythm outside of me. And that’s when I realized: the real hustle isn’t the road—it’s the recalibration.
What I’ve Learned:
- You don’t fail when your routine changes—you evolve.
- You can still win when you start later, as long as your energy is aligned.
- The holiday magic might fade, but your magic doesn’t.
- And every time you whisper “I have everything I need”—you anchor yourself in abundance.
