What is your favorite drink?
While I am working on my health, finding foods that I like and can add to my families menu long term, I still struggle with the things that I have been raised to eat and drink.
The goal is to find one meal a week that is healthy and replace an unhealthy one.
One of the things we have implemented was herb teas. We found this to be helpful for inflammation, so we mix herbs and spices that assist in keeping it at bay.
That is the goal
Herbs we have used were thyme and mint, with spices like ginger and turmeric and a touch of honey. These have helped tremendously.
Every so often I will try the infused drinks with fresh fruit and herbs for hydration.
While it is a constant challenge, I can not say it has been unfruitful we are working towards being more intentional. The barriers that prevent me from keeping up with better choices in foods to eat is strictly emotional.
I am a happy eater! My husband and I enjoy each others company, my children keep me laughing and our gift to each other is food!
And what do we like to compliment good food with? Our favorite drinks!
And is not just Southern Sweet Tea, it sweet tea period! I love flavored teas, chai tea, vanilla chai tea and one tea I can not get my hands on but really like is Thai Tea

I have tried to make it at home and just can’t! First, I can’t get the look, my creamer mixes and it just looks different, even the taste.
It doesn’t taste bad it just doesn’t look the same.
As a homeschool mom, what I do is pay attention to what the children are interested in and I am able to incorporate it into my lesson planning.
One of our daughters interested in Bubble or Boba tea and I was able to find a class online that teaches the process as we hope that the interest in food could become an income as well.

While Bubble or Boba tea is not my thing, I tried it and am glad it was a great conversation peace for the family, I will stick to my Southern Sweet Tea though
