There’s something sacred about this season—the way the Earth is warming up, calling forth life from the soil, and encouraging us to slow down and breathe in the sweetness of stillness. And just like Taurus energy teaches us, it’s not about doing the most. It’s about doing what matters, intentionally.
As we approach the New Moon in Taurus (April 27, 2025), the vibes are rich for grounding, planting seeds, and pampering our peace. And guess what? You don’t need anything fancy to tap in. Sometimes, all you need is your hands, a little balm, and your intention.
✨ When Vicks Becomes a Healing Ritual
Now let me take you deeper. I always feel like when I rub Vicks on my children or husband—temples, neck, back, and chest—it’s more than a mama move. It’s Reiki. It’s love energy made tangible. It’s ancestral. It’s me saying, “You’re safe. I got you. I see you healing.”
This New Moon, I invite you to turn that simple act into a ritual of care and connection. Whether it’s Vicks, shea butter, or your own herbal oil—what matters is the intention.
👐🏾 Your New Moon in Taurus Anointing Ritual
🌿 Supplies: Balm or oil of choice (peppermint, eucalyptus, lavender, or Vicks for the OGs)
🌑 Set the Mood:
- Play soft nature or root chakra music (think drums or flowing water)
- Light a green or brown candle (Taurus colors)
- Breathe in slowly 3x and say aloud:
“I root myself in peace, I pour myself into healing.”
🌿 Ritual Steps:
- Gently apply balm to your temples
- Anoint the back of your neck
- Massage balm into your back and chest
- Visualize healing energy flowing from your hands to their body or your own
- Speak this aloud: “I transfer love, comfort, and calm with every touch. My hands are guided by divine intention. My care is sacred.”
