There comes a moment in our journey when we wake up—not just from sleep, but from the illusions we’ve been fed our entire lives. The day I realized that God is just me referring to myself in third person was the day I took my power back.

For so long, we have been conditioned to believe that divinity is something separate from us—an external force watching from above, judging, rewarding, punishing. But what if the true essence of God has been inside us all along? What if every time we seek guidance, we are really just calling upon a version of ourselves that already knows the answer?

God Is Not Separate From You—You Are the Creator

Many of us were taught to look outside of ourselves for divine intervention. To pray to something beyond us. To wait on a force to deliver us from struggle. But what if I told you that the voice you hear in your spirit, the intuition nudging you forward, the creative force that sparks new ideas—that is you. The divine within you. The version of you that has always existed, beyond time, beyond limitations, beyond fear.

This is why so many ancient teachings—from Kemetic spirituality to metaphysical philosophy—affirm the truth: we are not separate from Source. We are fragments of Source experiencing itself.

Even within religious texts, the clues have always been there. But colonization, fear-based control, and manipulation stripped people of their divine identity and replaced it with servitude to an outside force. The moment you realize that the divine is within, you are no longer controlled.

The Third-Person Perspective: Speaking to Your Higher Self

When I say God is just me referring to myself in third person, I’m affirming that my highest self—the one who sees beyond my human struggles, the one who guides me when I listen, the one who co-creates my reality—is still me.

Think about it.
When you pray, when you meditate, when you set intentions—who do you think is answering?
Who’s giving you that gut feeling?
Who’s showing you synchronicities?
Who’s manifesting your reality?

It’s you all along. The divine version of you, the one not clouded by fear, doubt, or limitation. You are simply stepping outside of your limited self to connect with the eternal, boundless you.

Reclaiming Your Inner Divinity

Ways to Live as Your Divine Self

1. Speak Your Own Name with Power – Your words create your reality. When you affirm, do it in the first person: I am powerful. I am divine. I am limitless. But also recognize the power in calling your own name in moments of strength. Speak life into yourself.


2. Trust Your Inner Voice – That knowing you feel? That’s God-You talking. Stop doubting, stop asking for signs, and start trusting that your first instinct is the right one.


3. Create Intentionally – Whether it’s writing, art, business, or your daily reality, you are always in creation mode. Be mindful of what you are bringing to life. Are you creating from fear or faith? From lack or abundance? From hesitation or certainty?


4. Stop Giving Your Power Away – No more waiting for something outside of you to change your life. You are the change. Move like you already know it’s done.


5. Embody God Energy – What would happen if you truly acted like the divine being you are? Not with arrogance, but with unwavering self-ownership. Stand in your own name. Move with divine confidence. Protect your peace.



A Divine Reminder

The biggest lie ever told was that God is separate from you. But the biggest truth is that you have never been separate from the divine. You were born divine, you are divine now, and you will remain divine long after this physical form is gone. The micro to MACRO.

So today, when you speak to God, remember:
It’s just you, talking to yourself.

Affirm:

✨ I am the creator of my reality.
✨ I move with divine confidence and authority.
✨ My voice is the voice of Source, and my words shape my world.
✨ I trust myself fully, for I am never separate from wisdom.
✨ I am the answer I have been seeking.
