Just recently I completed 30 days of yoga during the 31 days of January. I missed only one day and felt like it was the worst day ever because nothing went well for me and I am glad I experienced that because it was motivation to keep going and to not miss another day for the rest of the month.
I wanted to stick to the commitment to the challenge I had placed on myself.
It wasn’t a “New Year’s resolution” because I don’t really celebrate it anymore but one of my favorite YouTubers posted a video daily and I participated each day and journaled some of my thoughts and experiences.

I am glad that I stayed the course and here are several things I learned about myself:
Movement and Fibromyalgia
The relationship between movement and fibromyalgia symptom improvement is well-documented. Yoga, as a holistic form of exercise, emphasizes gentle movements, stretching, and mindfulness. These elements can help reduce the pain and stiffness associated with fibromyalgia by increasing muscle flexibility and decreasing tension. The mindful component of yoga also supports mental health, reducing stress and anxiety, which are known to exacerbate fibromyalgia symptoms.

Each sunrise, I felt pain all over, and I would imagine myself pulling my mat out and sitting it in front of my terrarium full of plants, crystals, and positive energy aesthetics, I would accompany this with self-reiki and this would help to get up each day around the same time to create a routine, as they say what you do for 28 days forms a habit.
Bowel Movements and Overall Health
Improved bowel movements are a critical aspect of overall health and well-being, particularly for individuals with fibromyalgia who may experience irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) as a common comorbidity. Regular bowel movements are essential for eliminating toxins from the body, and yoga can support this process through poses that massage the abdominal organs, enhancing digestive efficiency and detoxification processes. This detoxifying effect can contribute to a reduction in fibromyalgia symptoms by alleviating bodily stress and promoting internal balance.
Fibromyalgia cannot kill you, but other illnesses are created due to its cause. About a year ago doctors were trying to diagnose me with being a pre-diabetic, and I was placed on a medication called Metformin which causes you to run to the bathroom. I know for a fact that having fibromyalgia you move less and with less movement, there is less bowel movement, due to pain, depression, and anxiety as well as IBS. Practicing yoga put me on the road to recovering from those issues and I was ecstatic when I realized how relieved I had been.

Libido Enhancement
An increase in libido is a noteworthy benefit, especially considering that chronic pain and the associated stress can significantly diminish sexual desire and overall quality of life. Yoga and mindful movement can improve libido by increasing blood flow, reducing stress levels, and enhancing body awareness and self-esteem. This holistic improvement in physical and mental well-being can naturally lead to a revitalized interest in sexual activities.
The lack of movement decreases oxygen to your brain, which causes a lot of malfunctions, from your head to your toes, so anything in between becomes a challenge. Let’s just say, my husband got a new and improved wife!

Clarity and Mindfulness
The clarity I experienced is another profound benefit of engaging in transformational yoga. This mental clarity resulted from the meditative aspects of this transformation yoga, which encouraged present-moment awareness and a focused mind. The practices were incredibly beneficial for me, especially with fibromyalgia, and dealing with “fibro fog,” characterized by cognitive impairments such as memory issues, lack of concentration, and confusion. Yoga helps in combating these challenges by enhancing cognitive function and fostering a state of mental calmness.

Not only did I experience so much clarity, but my intuition improved as well. I was able to remember dreams and hear from my spirit guides a little more clearly. This improves self-awareness and confidence. I had less self-doubt.
Astrological Influence: Aquarius and Pluto
The astrological timing of my yoga journey, with Aquarius moving into Pluto, from January 20th until September (or the next 20+ years), was fascinating. Pluto is often associated with transformation, rebirth, and healing on a depth, psychological level, while Aquarius brings innovation, liberation, and a break from the status quo. This celestial alignment could symbolize a period of profound personal growth and healing, particularly in areas of life that require transformation. It’s a potent time for shedding old patterns and embracing new ways of being, which seems to have beautifully complemented my yoga practice and the improvements I’ve observed with my fibromyalgia symptoms.

30-day transformational yoga journey amid Aquarius-Pluto
My 30-day transformational yoga journey amid the Aquarius-Pluto alignment demonstrates the powerful synergy between physical practices and cosmic influences. The improvements in movement, bowel movements, libido, and clarity not only offer practical insights for managing fibromyalgia but also underscore the holistic nature of healing. For those navigating similar paths, my experience illuminates the potential of integrating mindful movement and astrological awareness into your wellness strategies. My hope for you is that you keep shining your light, as you read this blog and decide on your path of healing and transformation looks like.
