Something Nubian

Sometimes it can appear as if the Universe never hears our inner most thoughts. And then at times it seems like it is loud and clear. In desperate times we want the pains and worries to disappear immediately. The bible speaks of pain lasting a night but joy would surely come in the morning and for some mornings are many moons away but rest assure trouble doesn’t last always and when the Universe speaks it is loud and clear.

The voice is silent sometimes, however it turns our Chakras up like a DJ in a club yelling “Hoooooooo” in the microphone over a crowd or it could be as subtle as a beautiful sun ray shining down on it’s most precious flower blooming in obedience.

That is a tricky thing that word obedience. You say “how can a flower be obedient?” To answer it just is! We as humans have a lot of options where as the flower does not. Humans can ignore the signs of the Universe, a flower can not. Humans suffer consequences for ignoring those signs. Flowers bloom.

It is a must when you know like you know it’s the Universe talking to take action! If you are on your way to work, pull over. If you are on a call, get off! When we come to the Universe in our need for answers to something we have to know it will not be ignored. The Universe does not have common sense and releases the energy that we are seeking to make the next move in the direction we are seeking to go in the ways we ask. You saw the Geico commercial about the guy who asked the Genie for a million bucks and suddenly a million deer appeared. Yeah, same concept!

Check it:  I was driving to work one day and like normal I am listening to music, appreciating the moment, my children hugged and kissed me before I left the house, my mate gave me something to think about all day, I had meditated, at that very moment I had not one body ache and even though it was raining, I had nothing to eat, I felt full. Everything was beautiful! That is when the Universe got my attention!

The Universe said: Write this down! (I have an idea for one of your chapters in the book)

I said: Great! Hold on, I am driving

The Universe said: Ok, but listen …..

I said: Really now!? That is great!

Somehow, I mistook this as me being hungry and stopped to get something to eat. Wrong. Wrong. Wrong! In my Charlie Murphy voice

I arrived to work on time … 15 minutes early. Then I started stuffing my face. I scrolled through Facebook because like any other person I like to read while I am eating alone.

The Universe said: Hey, you should write while you are eating

I said: Okay. Hold on

Then my peers began to show up and talk about their evening from the day before. I chimed in

The Universe said: Check your phone

I checked the message it read: Did you forget to pay the water bill? It’s been shut off!

I said: Damn.

The moral to this is: Listen when the Universe speaks to your spirit. The Universe is aware that you have a life and is only asking for the time you have to just listen, follow through, take action.

I dreamed about snakes this week and learned many things while researching. Snakes represent a fear in your unconsciousness, healing and revelation to the tools around you.

There is consequences to ignoring the Higher Power that give us the Sun and the Moon everyday with out fail. And when the Sun does not shine, life is not over the Sun rests just like we do or gives its time to the ones that need it at that time. We all have different variables of responsibility. Ours is to listen and take action when advised to.

Listening to the Universe restores order. I left work to pay the bill and had plenty of time to write down what the Universe advised then.
